Morning Tea rally to Amamoor

Tags:

An enjoyable and eventful morning tea rally. 9 cars left the starting point, the clubrooms, at 9:30am. We had a leisurely, scenic drive along the Mary Valley Rd through Dagun and onto Amamoor. It was very busy at Aamamoor’s Blue and White Teapot cafe and Market Garden. After dropping in there we meandered along to Amama Park where we indulged in morning tea and a chat (and more chat). The cars looked right at home parked under the shady trees. From there the group split. 6 cars choose to head back to Gympie via Cedar Grove, the Country Music Muster site and over the range through Langshaw. The water was refreshing at Cedar Grove. Old cars cut their teeth on dirt roads. Ralph’s car had a breakdown just before getting back on the bitumen at Langshaw. I believe he made it home for a late lunch. The others made their own way back to Gympie.
